What ingredients make up VERSO®?
There are two active ingredients in VERSO®: Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN), and Trans-Resveratrol (resveratrol). The active ingredients are encapsulated in a veggie capsule and use a small amount of rice flour to allow the product to flow through the mixing and encapsulation equipment.
Is VERSO® a natural product?
NMN and Resveratrol are both found in natural foods. Famously, resveratrol is found in small amounts in red wine, blueberries and peanuts. NMN can be found in small amounts in edamame, broccoli, and avocado.
Is VERSO® vegan or vegetarian?
VERSO® is vegan and vegetarian.
Do you add any artificial colors or flavors?
We wouldn’t think of it. VERSO® does not contain any artificial flavors, colors, or any other nonsense.
Where do you manufacture VERSO®?
VERSO® is made in sunny southern California, in the USA.
Why is cold storage important?
NMN is not a stable molecule. When it is exposed to heat or UV, it converts to its less stable form, nicotinamide. At a certain level, nicotinamide has shown to inhibit sirtuin activation – you don’t want this because sirtuins are longevity genes that tell enzymes how to properly perform their roles to keep the body young and healthy. Trans-resveratrol is the more stable form of resveratrol and is associated with health benefits. When it isn’t stored in cold temperature, it degrades into its less stable form, cis-resveratrol, which has shown to nullify the benefits of trans-resveratrol.
We conducted our own stability study that exposed our formula to 104F (40C) heat for 30 days, the result was no measurable degradation. Read the evaluation here.
